Frequently Asked Questions - Licensing

If, after installing your licence file, the software fails to run with a message saying your licence has expired. It could be due to one of the following situations:

• The licence file does not contain a licence for the Virtual Radiography product and version you are trying to run. This could occur if you have upgraded the software and have not obtained a new licence file.
  
  Contact Shaderware to obtain a valid licence for the product and version you wish to run.
• This host has not been added to the licence file. This could occur if the hardware fingerprint has changed or if this is a different computer to the one the licence was originally issued for.
  
  Contact Shaderware to obtain a valid licence for this host computer.
• You have a valid licence file correctly located within the install directory structure but the software has found another invalid licence file elsewhere. As the software searches from the location of the executable up through the parent directories, it may find an incorrectly located file before the one you intend. This could also happen if the initialization (ProjectionVR.ini) file has been amended to point at another location.
  
  You will need to remove the incorrect licence file or correct the initialization file as appropriate.
